Privacy Policy

Cruqo Pte Ltd (“Cruqo”, “we”, “us”) is a cruise distribution systems company incorporated in Singapore. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal data on cruqo.com and in the software we license to travel agencies and online travel platforms (“Customers”). Contact: info@cruqo.com.

Cruqo does not sell cruises and does not operate ships. Travellers book through a Customer. For a Customer, the Licensing Agreement controls if it conflicts with this policy.

1. Who this policy applies to

Visitors to cruqo.com and related marketing pages.

Customers and their representatives who use the licensed software.

Travellers whose booking details a Customer sends through that software.

2. Information we receive

On the website, we receive what you send us, such as your name, email address, and message, and ordinary technical logs needed to operate the site.

In the licensed software, we receive booking and traveller details that a Customer, or a user acting through that Customer, submits so a cruise can be searched, held, booked, or paid for. That may include a passenger’s name and contact details, and the travel-document and payment details the cruise line requires for that booking.

Cruqo does not collect traveller personal data except through a Customer’s use of the software. Cruqo does not buy personal data from other sources, and does not add to it on its own.

3. How we use information

We use website enquiries to respond to them.

We use traveller and booking data only to perform the Customer’s Licensing Agreement. That includes passing the details to the cruise line or other supplier needed to complete the request the Customer made. Cruqo does not use that data for Cruqo’s own marketing.

If a Customer asks Cruqo to send a message to that Customer’s travellers, Cruqo does so only for that Customer and only with that Customer’s data.

4. Who we share it with

We pass booking details to the cruise line or other supplier required to carry out the Customer’s instruction.

We use suppliers who host or support the software. They handle personal data only so Cruqo can perform the Licensing Agreement.

Cruqo does not disclose a Customer’s personal data to any other third party, and does not transfer it outside the Customer’s operating territory, without the Customer’s prior written consent, except where that is required to operate the software for the licensed purpose or where the law requires disclosure.

5. Security

Cruqo maintains administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to cruise distribution systems, including access control and encryption in transit, so that personal data is protected against loss and against unauthorised access, use, modification, disclosure, or other misuse.

For a Customer, further security terms are in the Licensing Agreement.

6. Children

cruqo.com and the licensed software are for travel businesses. They are not directed at children. Personal data about a child is processed only when a Customer includes it in a booking instruction, for example as a passenger on a cruise reservation.

7. Access and correction

A traveller should contact the travel agency or website that took the booking. That Customer decides the booking record.

A Customer, or a person who cannot resolve a request with that Customer, may contact info@cruqo.com. Cruqo will help with access or correction of personal data it holds, as required by applicable law.

8. How long we keep it

Cruqo keeps personal data no longer than needed to perform the Licensing Agreement or to meet a legal obligation.

9. Changes

Cruqo may update this policy. The date in the header is the effective date. The current version is posted on this page.
