Important Notice from Genting Dream (20220103)

We would like to inform you of new guideline updates for cruising on board Genting Dream.

As part of Dream Cruises’ ongoing commitment to provide the safest cruise environment for our guests, we would like to inform you of new guideline updates for cruising on board Genting Dream.

With effect from 5 January 2022, guests who are currently under the “Government Gazettes Compulsory Testing Notice” will be prohibited from cruising until they have completed all testing requirements as stipulated under the government guidelines:

“To guard against the Omicron variant from spreading in the community, ...residence, workplaces, and places visited by persons of all cases confirmed/suspected to be carrying the Omicron variant will be included in the compulsory testing notice. Persons who resided, worked and visited the same premises will be subject to a maximum of 7 times of compulsory testing, including the day on which the confirmed or preliminary positive case is recorded and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 12th and 19th days counting from the day subsequent to the day on which the case visited the relevant premises. The compulsory testing notice will specify the required testing dates.”

In view of this, we understand that some of our guests’ original bookings may be affected and Dream Cruises would like to offer the following option:


• A Future Cruise Credit for the full fare amount (including Paid Cabin Fare + Paid Port Charges, as applicable) is available to be redeemed for any Genting Dream sailings before 30 September 2022, provided the guests have completed all testing requirements before the cruising date.

• Please contact your original travel office or agency by 17 January 2022 for available options.

• All new cruise bookings are subject to cabin availability and prevailing rates.

• Affected guests will be required to top up the difference for new bookings made with a longer cruise itinerary or with a higher fare / port charge. If the new cruise fare / port charge is lower, the difference will be refunded via on board credits.

• Please note for affected Genting Rewards members who are sailing using Genting Points or cabin promotions, please contact our Genting Rewards members’customer service hotline.

We would like to reiteratethat Dream Cruises maintains the highest preventative and safety measures on board its fleet and is committed to safeguarding the health of all guests and crew.
